The selected person will join the Integrative pharmacology and systems neuroscience research group (Neurosciences research program).
- Task:

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled research technician to join IMIM’s Integrative Pharmacology and Systems Neuroscience Research Group, led by Dr. Rafael de la Torre. The position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a cutting-edge research project and collaborate with international teams. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in a European project JPND aimed at predicting individual responses to lifestyle-based multimodal interventions aimed at preventing cognitive decline and Alzheimer’s disease, as well as analysing the factors that affect intervention success. We are looking for candidates with expertise in statistics or bioinformatics, as well as in data management, data harmonisation and longitudinal data analysis using multilevel models or latent class growth models, among others. The candidate will also participate in the writing of scientific articles. Knowledge of statistical analysis packages is required, preferably R. Good communication and organisational skills, as well as a high level of English are highly valued. - Formation:

Master's degree in Public Health or similar, Statistics or Bioinformatics. A background in Biomedical Sciences will be positively valued.
- Experience:

Previous experience of at least 3 years in the tasks described above is required, including the management of clinical study databases and statistical analysis of the data obtained in order to generate the corresponding results reports. Scientific publications would be an asset.
- Knowledge:

High level of English.
Knowledge of R and other data processing and analysis programs.
