Project title:

El primer estudio de asociación de genoma completo (GWAS) con enfermedad coronaria poblacional a 10 años en más de 100.000 participantes para personalizar la prevención cardiovascular en España (PMP22/00033)

Research group / Service:

Girona Heart Registry (REGICOR) research group

Description:

The selected person will join the Girona Heart Registry (REGICOR) research group (Epidemiology and public health research program).

Task:

The candidate must be able to create descriptive data reports for quality control, adjust multivariate models such as linear models, logistic regression, and survival analysis techniques (Kaplan-Meier curves, Cox regression, or Weibull). They should also apply validation techniques and evaluate the predictive and discriminatory capacity of the models.

Formation:

Master's degrees in Biostatistics or Mathematics, or equivalent qualification.

Experience:

Experience in Biostatistics, programming in R, and knowledge of online genetic and genomic databases will be highly valued.

Knowledge:

Knowledge of R and the ability to create reports in R-Markdown is essential. Knowledge of other languages such as Python will also be appreciated.

Art of the research material may be used for Master's theses and similar purposes.
