Description:

The selected person will join the Scientific and technical services (SCT) (Management program).

Task:

Collaboration in the maintenance of ISO 9001:2015 Receipt and custody of samples Preparation of samples for further processing following the SOPs of the unit. Sample/quantity processing according to the SOPs of the unit. Analysis of the quality of the samples/data Contributing to maintain the order in the laboratory. Maintenance of the unit's equipment. Calibration of different equipments Creation and follow-up of maintenance incidents. Maintenance of the stock of consumable material of the unit.

Formation:

Degree in Biology. It will be valued to be in possession of the Master in Cytogenetics and Reproductive Biology.

Experience:

Minimum experience of 3 years in molecular biology techniques such as expression/genomic microarrays, qPCR and Next Generation Sequencing. Expertise in DNA/RNA quality checking and working with difficult samples. Knowledge in the use of various equipment such as Nanodrop, Bioanalyzer and Genechip Dx V2 is required. Previous experience working under 9001:2015 ISO will be highly appreciated. Past professional experience in a molecular cytogenetics laboratory will be taken into account.

Knowledge:

C1 level in English. Next Generation Sequencing course (Wellcome Sanger Institute)
