"La mare de la ciència", the new PRBB scientific outreach podcast, today with Toni Celià-Terrassa

On July 19 the Barcelona Biomedical Research Park (PRBB) launched a new science outreach product, "La mare de la ciència", a podcast in Catalan where you can "listen to science" done at the Park. During the second half of July the six episodes that make up the first season will be released.

Today, July 28th, the podcast of Toni Celià-Terrassa, group leader of the Cancer Stem Cells and Metastasis Dynamics group at the IMIM, will be launched and will help us to decipher metastasis.

This is a narrative podcast in short format, where Marta Vila, from the PRBB's communication department, leads us through the research and stories of six researchers from the Park's centres. A very personal and close look to the science that is done in the PRBB and the people behind it.

This first season of 'La mare de la ciència' will feature the testimonies of:

Cristina Pujades (DCEXS-UPF), head of the group that studies the Central Nervous System of Vertebrates and professor at Pompeu Fabra University, who will talk about brain development.
Premiere on July 19.

Sílvia Pérez Lluch (CRG), a senior researcher in the Computational Biology laboratory of RNA processing, explaining what we have learned over the last 20 years from the human genome.
Premiere on July 21.

David Oriola (EMBL Barcelona), a postdoctoral researcher in the group that studies the Self-Organization of Multicellular Systems, will give us five cents about organoids and synthetic development.
Premiere on July 23.

Clàudia Fontserè Alemany (IBE: CSIC-UPF), postdoctoral researcher in the Comparative Genomics group, will talk about genomics for the conservation of chimpanzees.
