Consulting service on biomedical publishing

IMIM offers a consulting service on biomedical publishing to IMAS investigators. The service includes the correction and editing of documents, preparation of different kinds of articles, journal selection, correspondence with the journal editors, responses to reviewers and translation of documents to English (translations must be previously assessed). Other services offered are the following:

• Assessment of the possibilities of publication and likelihood of acceptance of biomedical papers in national and international journals of the biomedical literature
• Translation of specialized scientific texts from Spanish and Catalan into English and from English into Spanish and Catalan
• Editing of biomedical papers
• Assessment and selection of the journal of choice
• Writing of abstracts, posters and communications to be presented at meetings
• Writing of technical reports
• Preparation of the final draft following the instructions for authors of the selected journal
• Print-outs and electronic versions
• Covering (transmittel) letter and other forms (financial disclosure, conflict of intereest, author/contributorship, copyright, reprints, etc.)
• Assessment of the reviewers' comments, preparation of revised drafts and replies to the referees
• Internet resources and publishing papers in the medical sciences
