BORMATE study: clinical validation of the Bordeaux maze test, a cognitive test for people with intellectual disabilities

What does the study involve?

The Bormate study is an observational project that seeks to validate a new neuropsychological task, the Bordeaux Maze Test, which is designed to evaluate different cognitive processes related to memory (relational memory and working memory), in people with Down Syndrome.

We need 25 participants with Down syndrome and 25 without this genetic disorder, who are aged between 16 and 35.  The participants must come to our facilities on 3 occasions over a 3-month period. During these visits, a series of neuropsychological tests will be carried out, along with other procedures, as well as the task to be validated, the Bordeaux Maze Test.
